We here at Hessle High School Sixth Form are committed to bringing you the highest standard of post-16 education in a supportive and lively environment. We are proud to offer a wide range of both academic and vocational courses which are further enhanced through our partnership within The Consortium.

All of our students are provided with a high level of personal support from a wide range of sources, including not only their subject teachers, but also the Sixth Form Team of Mrs Sutherland and Mr Shaughnessy, and the Pastoral Manager Mrs Marshall. Students are also allocated a personal Mentor whose role it is to support, advise and guide students through their time in the Sixth Form through regular meetings and updates.

The vast majority of our students achieve their aspirational targets and their first choice of university placement. However, if higher education is not for you we will support you to achieve success in your chosen pathway.

We also know that being in the Sixth Form is not all about work which is why we work with our students to organise social events such as barbeques, Christmas parties and the Prom. We also provide an enrichment programme designed to prepare you for life outside and beyond the Sixth Form with the aim of providing you with as rounded an experience as possible, allowing you to grow into confident and independent adults within safe and supportive surroundings.
