Student Testimonials

Hi, my name is Michael. I am in year Six in Mrs Tanton and Mrs Ogle’s class. I have been at Penshurst since I was in Year 2. This is the first year I have been on the School Council. I wanted to go on it to show the school, the children and teachers, that I would be a good representative. We are working on getting the tuck shop back because some children find it hard to get through the morning without a snack if they haven’t had any breakfast. I am glad we are helping to move our library so we get a bigger library with lots of books.
Come and find one of us and let us know what kind of books you would like in your library.

Hi, I’m Millie. I’m 11 years old and have been Penshurst Primary since Nursery. I’m a Y6 student and I am part of the Student Council. The Student Council is a group of students who will help our Headteacher improve the school or come up with ideas for the school. Our most recent project is transferring our existing library into a new room, making it an exciting place to learn and research information, and changing our old library into a meeting room. I feel very proud as part of the Student Council and hope I can stay a School Councillor for as long as I can.

My name is Nariesse. I am 10 years old. I have attended Penshurst Primary School from being in the Nursery. I am a School Councillor which I enjoy because I am able to help make decisions about how to improve the school. For example as part of the School Council I am able to vote for privileges such as the school tuck shop.
